A loose black line drawing of a large, curved, irregular, sagging or runny shape with a smaller rounded shape overlapping near the lower centre. Faint contours surround the darker black outlines. This is the second practice motif for Raw Egg.

Raw Egg

I like thinking of what I am working on or looking at as having a raw egg over the top of it.

I like imagining a raw egg because when I place the yolk on the point of what I am wanting to understand I am also including the egg white, the albumen.

The yolk is the material, the object, activity, event, actor.
The albumen is the everyday unseen.

Everything has an egg white around it.
That’s how I process things.
Before I can process the yolk I stay with the albumen spaces.
I want to learn how to know the yolk.
The experiences around the experience.
And I like to tilt the gravity just a little and let the egg white run slowly move and drag to unexpected and more concentrated places.
Pooling viscosities helping me learn.
