A loose black line drawing of two overlapping irregular shapes. The left shape is tall and narrow with a slightly tapered outline, while the larger shape on the right curves outward into a broad, rounded form. Faint contours surround the darker black lines. This is the second practice motif for Doubt.

Doubt

Ohhhhhh doubts.

My everyday feasts.

We playfully eat each other.

I don’t want to dominate ideas... I want to hang out with them as they do what they do.

Ideas are not facts.

Doubt is porous and open and present and honest.

Confidence and knowing doesn’t really give me anything.

Doubt is more about the moving of the gut.

I have two guts right now.

One is of self preservation, invisibility and the trained comfort of being nothing.

One is of beginning to share.

This is the smaller gut.
