A loose black line drawing of several overlapping rounded, irregular shapes arranged in a cluster. Two larger rounded forms dominate the lower left and right, with smaller oval and circular forms overlapping near the top and centre. The darker black outlines are surrounded by faint black trace outlines. This is the second practice motif for Assemblages of Attunement.

Assemblages of Attunement

Assemblages of Attunement simulate an environment that does not exist.

A Pre-Memory Palace. A proto-village. A Loose Parts invitation.

They are prototypes of theory and experience and research multiplicities that I can spend quality qualitative time with them. Getting to know them through their formations and deformations and reformations. They are digital design palimpsests.

They are a temporary fixing of experimental terrains and topologies. Cartographies of internalised landscapes. Transitional spaces for information integration.

They are Preventative Conservation aids for when my brain and mouth are not connecting very well. They help to share and show and tell no matter the sick-weather and afford me an embodied sustainability.

They are about generously taking time to attune to intention.

A deep listening to this intention.

A rhizomatic amphitheatre for conversation between the many lenses (practice, theory, method, strategy, histories, stories and lived experiences) of the disciplines I do and modalities I play with. Exhausting their understood shapes.

All the little theories I generate... they are skeletons.

Here, the 'work', is where I layer the flesh... sculpt the muscles, the tendons, the connective tissues to animate and articulate loose as fuck movement and full bodyminded agency of these ideas.

I want to be gentle with knowledge.

The world's and with my own, that is growing.

I want to be responsible with my own understanding of what I am looking at before making places for others to experience of me, and on behalf of me.

Assemblages of Attunement are a kind of practice ethics.
