A loose black line drawing of a long, horizontally oriented capsule shape, containing several overlapping smaller oval and rounded forms. The dark outlines are irregular and layered. This is the second practice motif for Bodymind Witness.

Bodymind Witness

I never... was a sympathetic witness of myself before.
I was always more of a surveyor.
Twenty four hour surveillance.
Physical, mental, emotional, sensory, background audits running constantly.
Private body and mind millisecond equations of effect and affect.
My surveying was always more... self analysis than self awareness.
Yes... the witness was once a spy.

But they changed.
But we changed.
Towards what we hoped for.

The witness, my witness, has emerged as an embodiminded place and space for my invisible bodymind to not just see it all but to begin to feel at all.
An embodiminded soft and slow feedback.
A possibility to participate in the soft and slow sense of sense making.
Many lines of open and often overwhelming connections.
And in the beginning... they keep to and keep in the space of invisibility, of unseeness.
Spending time.
Keeping vigil.
Learning new languages.
In the unseen of me.
And keeping it all and sharing it.
And I receive this sharing at the scale of me.
Observations that are through care.
Watchings and hearings that are like rough nude sketches.
Scrapbooks of witnessing at the shape and scale of me.
To follow... experientially, how unseen physical, mental and emotional interconnectedness feels.
For me.
